Taisuru Bricks

Our place, Taisuru Bricks, is out in Village Choskore. It’s part of the Taisuru Block and we get our mail through the Panikhar post office. It is a bit of a remote spot, but we like it that way. The work here is mostly about digging, molding, and firing the kilns. It’s hard work that depends a lot on the weather. If it rains, everything stops. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while. They know the rhythm of the place. We don't have a big office or a secretary. Usually, I'm the one answering the phone or talking to people when they drive up to the yard. The ground is often uneven and there’s red dust everywhere you look. We make bricks for the local houses and small buildings in the village and the surrounding block. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the end of the day, everyone is covered in dirt. We just focus on keeping the production moving so we have enough stock when the building season starts. People around here know where to find us. We don't do much in the way of selling, people just come by when they are ready to build. It’s a quiet life out here in Choskore, mostly just focused on the day-to-day tasks of running a brick kiln without any big drama or expensive equipment.
