Down in Lahorijan, specifically in the Khatkhatidist area of Karbi Anglong, you will find Monarch Enterprise Private Limited. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The surroundings are quite different from the crowded city centers, and that actually helps us focus on the day-to-day tasks. We don’t have a flashy sign or a glass-fronted showroom. It is more of a functional space where we handle our enterprise business. Every morning, we unlock the gate and check what needs to be moved or sorted for the day. Karbi Anglong has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. There are days when the power goes out or the roads get a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is living and working in this part of the country. We have a small group of people working here who mostly live nearby. We know each other's families and what’s going on in the local community. The work itself isn't always glamorous, but it’s steady. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking stock in the back. It’s not a complicated setup, just a private limited company trying to make things work in Lahorijan. We don't go in for big meetings or long speeches. We just show up, do the work that is in front of us, and head home when the sun sets over the hills.
