Chingri Asong Yes We Can Foundation

You can find us at Khoya Sing Engleng’s place in Ward No 7, right here in Diphu. Chingri Asong Yes We Can Foundation is a long name, but we are just local folks. We aren't a big company with a glass building. We work from where we live. Most of us have known each other since we were kids. We saw that some things in our part of town could be better, so we decided to stop talking and start doing something. It is mostly about helping the people around us in small, practical ways. We don't have a lot of rules. If a neighbor needs a hand with something, we see if we can manage it. We spend a lot of time just listening to what people in the ward are saying. Diphu is a good place, but everyone knows life can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We try to be there for those moments. We aren't experts or anything, just people who live here. Sometimes we help with school stuff, other times it’s just making sure an elderly person gets what they need. We don't need a lot of praise. Seeing things get a bit easier for someone is enough for us. It’s just how we were raised in this neighborhood. We keep it simple and keep going. It is not always easy, but we enjoy the work we do for our friends and family here.
