Khan Machine Industries

Khan Machine Industries is tucked away in Pradhan Krupa Colony, specifically in the Dhindhora area. We are right near the Government College, so you often see students walking past our gates on their way to classes. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of engines being worked on. It’s a bit hot inside during the summer because of the machines running, but we have some big fans that help a little bit. We keep a lot of tools scattered around the benches, and there is usually a thin layer of oil on most surfaces, which is just how a machine shop should be. Most of the guys here have been working with these tools for years, so we have a rhythm going. Sometimes people from the colony drop by just to ask for a small fix or to borrow a tool. It feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of every square inch. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we handle the heavy work. It’s a practical place where we get our hands dirty every single day. There’s no lobby or air conditioning, just a solid roof and the right equipment to do the jobs that come our way. We’ve been here long enough that the college security guards know us by name.
