Gupta Brothers

We are Gupta Brothers and you can find us in the Old Mandi area specifically in Sharafa Markit in Hindaun. The market is one of those places that has been around forever and the streets are quite narrow. You have to be careful walking around because of the motorbikes and the people carrying heavy sacks on their shoulders. We have been in this spot for years and the shop has a lot of history in the walls. We mostly handle trading and selling different goods that come through the mandi. The air in Sharafa Markit usually smells like spices and old wood. We have a heavy iron safe in the back that has been there since the beginning and we still use the same heavy keys for the front shutters. Most of our customers are people we have known for decades and we spend as much time talking about the weather as we do about business. It is a very traditional way of working and we do not see any reason to change it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon but we just put a bucket down and keep going. Hindaun is a small enough place where everyone knows where the Old Mandi is so we never had to worry about directions much.
