Soorya Dental Hospital

Our dental clinic is located at number thirteen on Mudiarasan Salai, right across from the new bus stand in Karaikudi. It is a busy spot because of the buses coming and going all day long. You can usually hear the horns and the shouting from the conductors while you are sitting in the waiting room. We have been fixing teeth here for a while now. Most people come in because they have a toothache that they can’t ignore anymore, or they need a cleaning. The chairs in the back are where all the work happens. It is a small team here, just a couple of us helping the dentist and keeping the tools clean. We have a lot of regular patients from the surrounding villages who travel in by bus. Sometimes they bring us snacks or fruit from their farms as a thank you. The waiting area has some old magazines and a small television that usually plays the news. We try to keep the place cool because Karaikudi gets very hot in the afternoons. It can be a bit scary for kids when they see the drills, so we spend a lot of time trying to calm them down. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from their neighbors or see our sign when they are at the bus stand. It is just a regular dental office doing everyday work.
