Even though our name mentions Chennai, we are actually operating out of Pallathur. Specifically, we are on Pallivasal Street. The office is located at my father's place, S.Hamaratheen’s house. It’s in the Sivagangai district, which is a bit of a distance from the big city bustle. We like it this way. It's much quieter and we know everyone on the street. People around here call it the "infra office" even though it's just a couple of rooms in a residential area. We do a lot of our coordination and planning from here. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees in suits. It’s just us and a few local workers we trust. We handle infrastructure tasks, mostly things that need a lot of local knowledge. My neighbor’s son helps with the filing on weekends when he's home. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the fields checking on things. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. We don't have a website that looks like a movie or anything. We just have our desks, our ledgers, and a good pot of coffee. If you're coming down Pallivasal Street, just look for the house near the mosque. Most people around can point you in the right direction if you get lost. We've been here for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
