Rabbani Rice Mill

I have been working here at Rabbani Rice Mill for quite a while now. We are located at 98, Karaikudi, Pudhuvelli. It usually gets very busy during the harvest months. The whole building smells like raw grain and dust most days. Most of the people living around here already know where we are. We mostly just focus on getting the milling work done on time. It is pretty loud when the machines start up in the morning, but we are used to it. Sometimes the big front gate gets a bit stuck if it has been raining a lot lately. Pudhuvelli is a quiet enough place otherwise. We do not really do much besides the rice processing. People come by with their heavy sacks and we just get to it. My desk is right near the front entrance of number 98. It can get a little bit dusty, especially when the weather is dry. You can see the big piles of husks sitting outside in the yard. We stay open until the sun goes down most days. There is not much to say about us that people do not already know. We just keep the mill going day after day. It is a simple setup at our Karaikudi location. We have a couple of old trucks that come and go at odd hours. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to sit and wait. It is just a normal part of how things go here for us.
