Intel'S Kids International Pre School

Our place, Intel'S Kids International Pre School, is located at No 35 Siva Illam. We are on Thiyagarajan Chettiar 2nd Street in Karaikudi. Being in a house like Siva Illam gives the school a bit of a different feeling than those big modern blocks you see elsewhere. Karaikudi has a lot of history and beautiful buildings, and while we are just a regular pre-school, we like being in this neighborhood. The street is usually quiet, except for when parents are dropping off their toddlers in the morning. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are bright and that the toys are put away at the end of the day. It’s a lot of work looking after small children, but we have a good group of local people working here. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a scooter to get to 2nd Street. We aren't trying to be some big international corporation; we are just a local spot for parents in Karaikudi who need a place for their kids to start learning. You’ll often see us outside on the street talking to the neighbors or helping a parent with a stroller. The air in Karaikudi can get quite still, but we have enough windows to keep the air moving through the rooms. It’s just a simple, honest setup in a traditional house, which seems to suit the families around here just fine.
