Five Star Engineering Works

You can find our workshop at 185/5 C M C Road in the Senjai area of Karaikudi. We are in the Sivaganga district, and it is a place known for its hard workers. Our shop is full of tools, scrap metal, and old machines waiting to be fixed. There is always the smell of grease and burnt metal in the air from the welding. We don't have a clean office or a place for people to sit comfortably; it is a working garage. Most of the time, our hands are covered in oil and we are bent over a lathe or a welding bench. We take on all kinds of repair jobs that come our way from the local farms and small factories nearby. The floor is stained with oil spills from years of work. It is loud when the grinders are running, and you have to shout to be heard. We have an old radio that stays tuned to the local station, though it's hard to hear sometimes over the noise of the machines. The door is always open to let the heat out. We don't make big promises, we just look at what is broken and try to figure out a way to make it work again. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. We have been on C M C Road for a long time now and expect to stay as long as there are things to fix.
