Sri Sakthi Brick Works

Down at No. 21, Amman Koil Street, you’ll find Sri Sakthi Brick Works. We’ve been part of the T.R. Pattinam landscape for quite some time. It’s a busy little area, and our yard is right in the middle of it all. Making bricks isn't exactly a clean job, but it’s steady. We spend most of our mornings getting the clay ready and setting things up so the day goes smoothly. People walking by the street usually see the stacks of bricks piled high near the entrance. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a reliable one for the people living nearby. When you’ve been on the same street for years, you get to know everyone. It's not uncommon for a neighbor to stop by just to chat while we’re working. The bricks we make go into all sorts of projects around town, from simple houses to backyard sheds. We handle the heavy lifting and the heat from the kilns every day. It gets tiring, sure, but there’s something good about seeing a finished stack of bricks ready to be hauled away. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. If you need us, you just come to the gate and look for someone covered in dust. That’s usually how it goes here in T.R. Pattinam, keeping things straightforward and honest without any unnecessary fuss.
