Sona Traders

We operate out of 216 Bharathiyar Street, which is right by the Town Police Station in Karaikal. It’s a central location, so we see the police vans and a lot of locals passing by every hour. Sona Traders is where we handle all our business. The street can get a bit crowded during the day, especially with people going to the station or the nearby shops. Our space is filled with whatever we are trading at the moment. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to keep everything running smoothly. Karaikal has that coastal feel, and sometimes the air is a bit salty. We have been at this address for a long time, so the walls have some scuffs and the floor is worn down from all the boots. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time coordinating deliveries and checking the stock levels. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or work by the door where there is more light. We don’t really have a formal way of doing things, we just do what needs to be done. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all been together for years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It’s just how we run things on Bharathiyar Street, making sure everything is counted and ready for the morning and the next round of orders.
