M. Arunachalam & Co. is located over on Bharathiyar Street in Karaikal. It’s house number 354. If you’ve walked down that road, you’ve probably passed us. Pondicherry has that specific feel, especially around the 609 605 area. We’ve been here for some time now. It is a quiet enough spot. We handle the usual paperwork and business things that come with being a company in this town. People around here know the name. We aren't trying to do anything flashy. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files. The humidity gets to the paper sometimes, but that’s just life in a coastal place. We see the same faces mostly. Business owners from around the block or people just needing some help with their documents. We start early before it gets too hot. By the afternoon, the street gets a bit noisier. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on the desk. It’s a local operation. Nothing more, nothing less.
