Jaisakthi Layer Farms Private Limited is situated at Sf No 41/1C in Malakovil Thootam, which is in the Karadivavi area. We are a layer farm, so our primary focus is on the birds and the eggs they produce. The farm is tucked away in a more rural spot, which is better for the poultry. We have a pretty straightforward operation here. Most of the day is spent checking the sheds, making sure the feed is right, and collecting eggs. It is a constant cycle that doesn't really stop, even on weekends. The Malakovil Thootam area is quiet, and that suits the work we do. We have a small group of workers who live nearby and help with the daily chores. The office part of the building is just for keeping records and handling the sales of the eggs. We don't have a big corporate structure; it's mostly just family and local hands. We have been at this Karadivavi location for quite some time now. You get used to the sounds of the farm and the routine of the layers. Sometimes the prices for feed go up or the weather gets too hot for the birds, and we have to adjust. It is a lot of practical problem-solving. We just do our best to keep the farm running smoothly and get the eggs out to the market every day. It is a long day's work most of the time.
