Boss Associates

Boss Associates is based out of Tharangambadi, which is a pretty quiet part of the Nagapattinam district compared to the bigger cities. Our office on Kamarajar Salai is where we handle all our daily tasks. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for what we do. Sometimes you can catch a bit of the sea breeze if the wind is blowing the right way, which is one of the perks of being in this town. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through documents that seem to never end. It’s a local operation, so we see a lot of the same faces coming through the door. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or a lobby with leather chairs. It’s just us at our desks, usually with a cup of tea nearby. The floor is a bit uneven in the corner, and we’ve had to wedge a piece of cardboard under one of the tables to keep it from wobbling. We just try to stay on top of the work and make sure the people who rely on us aren’t waiting too long. It’s a practical environment where we don't worry too much about appearances. As long as the lights are on and the pens are working, we are in good shape to finish whatever needs doing before we head home for the evening. We prefer this quiet rhythm over the noise of the bigger cities any day.
