Viridian Blocks

We set up our block making business here in Kapurthala, over in the Sakara district. It’s a bit out of the way, which gives us the space we need for all the machinery and the drying yards. The ground is mostly flat, which helps when you're trying to stack thousands of blocks in neat rows. We’ve got a small crew of local guys who know the rhythm of the work. The mornings start early before the heat gets too bad. You can hear the hum of the mixers from a good distance away. We don't have a fancy reception area or a waiting room. If someone stops by, they usually find us near the curing tanks or by the loaders. It’s a dusty place to work, but that’s the nature of cement and blocks. We’ve been part of the local scene here for a while, seeing different buildings go up around the district using what we make. The weather is something we always have to watch closely. If it rains too much, the yard becomes a bit of a mess and slows us down. We just do our best to keep the production steady. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us on our feet all day long. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just make sure the blocks are solid and ready to go out on the trucks. It’s just us doing our thing in Sakara, day in and day out, without any fuss.
