Raj Trading

You can find Raj Trading near Gate No. 4 in the Market Yard over in Shaniwar Peth. We are quite close to the Market Committee Office, which makes it easy for people to find us in Satara. The market is always a bit chaotic, especially in the mornings when all the vendors are arriving. There are trucks everywhere and people shouting, but we like the energy. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. Our space isn't very big, but we make it work. We handle various goods and most of our day is spent unloading crates or writing out receipts on paper pads. We don't use many computers here, we prefer doing things the old way. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually dirty by noon. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. Satara is a nice place to work, even if the traffic in the market yard gets frustrating sometimes. We aren't trying to be the biggest traders in the district, just a spot where people can get what they need without any fuss. It gets hot under the tin roof during the summer, but we’re used to it by now. Just head towards Gate 4 and look for the stacks of sacks. That’s usually where you’ll find us working away. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the market slows. It’s been a busy few years.
