Hospitals

We've been around the Kale area in Karad for a while now. Most people just know us as the local hospital here in Satara district. It's not a fancy place, but we keep things running every day. When someone comes in, we just try to get them sorted out. There’s always something to fix or a patient needing a bit of help, so the staff stays pretty busy. We don’t have those big city office people writing fancy things for us. It’s just us. The building is right where you’d expect it to be. People from the nearby villages come by when they aren't feeling well. We know a lot of the families around here by name since we see them at the market too. It gets a bit loud in the mornings when the shifts change over, but it settles down. Working in a place like this means you see everything. Some days are slow, others we don't even have time for a tea break. We just focus on the work at hand. No one here is trying to be a hero, we just do the jobs we were trained for. It's an old-fashioned way of doing things, maybe, but it works for the community. We've got the basic stuff covered. If it's something we can't handle, we tell you straight. That's just how we operate in this part of Karad. We aren't big on bells and whistles.
