Abhay Hospital

Abhay Hospital is right here near the st stand. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the buses pulling in and out all day long. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy building with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular place where we show up every morning. Sometimes the tea stall nearby gets more attention than we do, but that is just how it goes on this street. The waiting area has some chairs that have seen better days, and the floor stays clean enough, though the dust from the road tries its best to get inside. Most people find us because they are already getting off a bus or they live right around the corner. We don’t have big flashing signs. Just the name on the front. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of people talking and the occasional fan humming away. The staff here are locals, mostly. We know the shortcuts around the stand and where to get the best lunch when there is a break. It's a bit noisy outside with the horns honking, but once you step through the doors, it settles down a little. We keep the files in order and try to make sure everyone who walks in gets seen. It’s just a job for us, but we take it seriously enough. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here at the hospital. We just do our work.
