Wintertex

Our office is located at Prime 2109, Office number 8 in BMCHS. It is a small space where a few of us sit and look at spreadsheets and talk to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have samples lying everywhere. We do not have a huge showroom or anything like that. People who come by usually just want to check on their orders or drop off documents. The building is tall and the lift is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. Most of the work involves coordinating with the units that do the actual stitching. We spend a lot of time checking quality and looking at fabric swatches under the desk lamp. It is quiet for the most part, except when the phones start ringing all at once. We have a few files that have been sitting on the shelf for years. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and a bit of the street below. We go home around six unless there is a big shipment going out. It is just a regular office life for us. We do our work, chat about the news, and keep things moving. Nothing fancy, just a small team trying to stay on top of the textile business every day.
