We have been here at Shop No 0 in Shri Nath Palace for quite a while now. Phagwara is a busy place, especially around the Old Post Office Road where we are located. Most days it is just us sitting here handling tickets and planning trips for folks who drop by the shop. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and people walking past. People usually come in looking for bus timings or maybe a train booking to Delhi. We do not have a big fancy office, just a small space where we keep our files and a couple of computers. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage to get things done. My cousin helps out when it gets really busy during the holiday season. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It is not a corporate setup or anything like that. Just a local spot where you can get your travel stuff sorted without too much fuss. The parking near the palace is a bit of a headache, so most people just walk in from the main road. We try to keep things organized, though papers sometimes pile up on the desk when we are in a rush. If you are walking past the Old Post Office, you will see our sign. It is nothing special to look at, but we are here most mornings until late evening. Sometimes we stay late if someone has an emergency booking to handle. That is just how it goes.
