Squadminds Private Limited operates out of Mohalla Preet Nagar here in Kapurthala. Specifically, we are located in Gali Number 6. It’s a residential area, so it’s not like being in a shopping mall or a commercial district. We are set up at the care of Bhagwan Dass’s place. It’s a family-oriented neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes the kids are playing in the street while we are inside working on our computers. We chose this name, Squadminds, because we like the idea of a small group of people working together on things. Our setup is pretty modest. We have our desks, our chairs, and our coffee mugs. There aren’t any fancy logos or glass partitions here. It’s just a regular room where we put in our hours every day. The 144601 area of Kapurthala is a good place to be. It’s got a bit of a slower pace than the bigger cities, which helps us focus. When we need a break, we just step out into the gali for some fresh air. It’s a simple life running a business from a mohalla. We don’t have a big HR department or a marketing team. We just do the work ourselves and try to keep things moving forward.
