Shri Ram Traders

Shri Ram Traders is located right in the middle of the Old Grain Market in the Mandi area. We are over in Shakti Nagar, not too far from the Railway Road. You can hear the trains coming through if the wind is blowing the right way. Being in the grain market means there is always a lot of activity with tractors and carts coming in and out all day long. We deal with a lot of different things here, mostly stuff people need for their shops or their homes. The building we are in has been around for a long time and the floors are a bit uneven, but it holds everything we need. Most of the guys here have been working in this market since they were kids. It’s a tight community and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We open up pretty early because the market waits for no one. Sometimes it gets so crowded on the street outside that you can barely walk, let alone drive a truck through. We spend our time counting stock and talking to the people who stop in. It’s not complicated work, just keeping things moving and making sure we have what people are looking for. There is a tea stall just down the road that we visit a few times a day. We like being part of the old Mandi, even with all the noise and the dust. It feels like home after all these years.
