Sharma Hospital

The shop number 67 on G.T Road is where you'll find us, right between Amritsar and Kartarpur. It’s a busy road so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time. People stop by because they’re passing through or because they live just down the street. The hospital isn't very large, but we have enough space for what needs doing. We handle a lot of different cases every day. Some days it’s mostly just coughs and colds, other days it’s more serious things that keep us on our feet until late. The building itself is older, but it works for us. We keep the equipment ready and the staff knows the routine. It’s not like those big city hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. Here, you walk in and someone sees you pretty quickly. My father used to say that a hospital is just a building until people show up needing help. That’s how we look at it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for the sick to come. The location on G.T Road makes it easy for folks from both sides to reach us. Sometimes the parking is a bit of a mess, but we manage. We’re just here doing the work day in and day out, making sure people have a place to go when they aren't feeling well.
