M/S Omaxe Ltd.

This branch of M/S Omaxe Ltd. is run by Lakhwinder Singh, who is the son of Sardar Harpal Singh. We are located out in the village of Hamirgarh, which is in the Moonak Tehsil of Sangrur district in Punjab. It’s a long way from the big city offices you might expect. Most of what we do here is connected to the land and the local community in this part of Punjab. The office is a simple building in the village, and it often feels more like a community spot than a business place. People from Hamirgarh and the nearby areas stop by all the time to chat or ask about work. Lakhwinder handles most of the day-to-day things, and it’s a very personal way of running a business. We don't have much use for fancy office furniture or high-tech gadgets. A few sturdy tables, some chairs, and our registers are mostly what we need to keep things moving. The pace here is a bit different than in Delhi. We follow the seasons and the local timing of the village. It can get very quiet in the afternoons when it’s hot outside. We take pride in being from Sangrur and working right here in our own V.P.O. area. It’s about knowing the people and the land. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain speaking and getting the job done as it comes. It's a humble setup but it works for us and the local folks. We’ve been here for years.
