Kapsyn Manufacturing Co.

We are located on Aujla Road over in P.O. Mansoorwal Dona. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like the space it gives us. The manufacturing shed has seen better days, but it keeps the rain off the machines, which is what matters. We started out small and stayed that way for a good while. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we see each other at the market too. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone in overalls busy with a lathe or sorting through raw materials. The noise can be a lot sometimes, but we’re used to it. We keep a regular schedule, starting when the gates open at eight. There’s a big tree near the entrance where we usually sit for a few minutes during the afternoon break. It gets hot in the summer, so we have a few big fans that mostly just move the warm air around. We handle everything from the initial cutting to the final packing right here on the floor. It’s straightforward work. We don’t spend time on big presentations or polished speeches. We just look at what needs to be made that week and we get to it. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves. That's just how things go for the crew at Kapsyn Manufacturing.
