You can find us in the village of Kahma, which is why our address says V.P.O. Kahma. Being out in the countryside makes sense for a milk business like ours. We are surrounded by farms, and the pace of life here is a lot slower than in the big cities. Every morning starts very early, often before the sun is even up, because that is when the milk starts arriving. The air is usually cool then, and you can hear the birds and the occasional tractor in the distance. Our facility is a plain building designed for one thing: handling milk. It isn't a place for tourists or visitors really. We have large tanks and pipes everywhere, and the floor is almost always wet because we are constantly washing everything down to keep it clean. Most of the people who work here are from the village, so there is a lot of talking and catching up while we work. We don't have a marketing department or a big office block. We just have a small room where the paperwork gets done and the phone is kept. Sometimes a cow wanders near the gate, or a farmer stops by to complain about the weather. It is a very basic way of living and working, but it is what we know. We have been part of this community for a long time now and we just keep going.
