Jalaram Quarry Works

Jalaram Quarry Works is situated out in Village Kapadwanj in the Kheda district. It is a bit of a journey to get out here, but this is where the rock is. The village is mostly quiet, but our site stays busy with the sound of machinery and stone being moved. We are a local business and most of the people who work here come from the surrounding Tehsil Kapadwanj area. We have a small office where we keep the registers and do the accounts, but we are rarely sitting in there. Most of our day is spent outside at the quarry site itself. It is hard, dusty work and the sun can be really punishing during the summer months. We are always keeping an eye on the weather because a big rain can change our whole plan for the week. The road leading to the village can be a bit bumpy for the trucks, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a website or any big advertisements. People in the district know where we are and what we do. It is a simple operation without any unnecessary complications. We just focus on getting the stone ready and loaded. Sometimes we sit under the trees during our break to escape the heat for a few minutes. It is a basic way of life and we like the honesty of the work we do here.
