V.V.Minerals is located down in Suchindrum, which is in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. Our place is on 12/130 Kavimani Nagar. If you know the area, it is quite a scenic spot near the temples, but we are mostly focused on the ground and what comes out of it. We deal with minerals and the heavy lifting that comes with that kind of industry. It gets very hot here during the summer months, so work usually starts early in the morning to beat the sun. The trucks come and go from the site frequently, carrying materials to wherever they need to go. We have been part of this community for a long time now. Most of the staff live close by and walk or ride their scooters to work. There is always dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the background, which is just how life is in this business. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls; it is just a functional building where we keep our logs and manage the daily operations. Dealing with the logistics of transport and the state regulations keeps us pretty occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or mechanical issues, but we just deal with it and move on to the next day. It is hard work but it is honest work that keeps us busy.
