Vj Fire

Our place, Vj Fire, is located over at 230 Chenna Pattu Vilai Nalloor in Marthandam. We spend most of our time dealing with fire extinguishers and those red buckets you see in buildings. It’s a small operation. We noticed that a lot of shops in Marthandam didn't have their safety gear updated, so we decided to fill that gap. We check the dates on the tanks and refill them when they run low. It's not the most exciting job, but it has to be done right. The shop is easy to find if you know the Nalloor area. We keep a lot of different sizes of extinguishers on the shelves. Sometimes we are out on a call and the shop might be closed for an hour, but we usually leave a note on the door. We try to keep things straightforward. No one wants to talk about fire until they have to, so we just make sure the equipment is ready. We deal with some alarms too, the basic ones that beep when there's smoke. It gets quite humid here in Marthandam, so we have to watch out for rust on the older equipment people bring in. We just handle the day-to-day stuff here, keeping track of what needs servicing. It’s a local business, nothing more. We just work with what we have and try to be helpful when someone comes in looking for a refill or a new bracket. We enjoy being here.
