Tiaano Fabricators

You can find us at K.K.V House in Koottumangalam. This is down in Kanyakumari, near the Mondaikadu post office. It’s a beautiful part of the country, very green and close to the coast. Our setup here at Tiaano Fabricators is quite traditional. We work out of this house which has been converted into our workspace. It feels more like a home than a factory. We have our tools spread out and there’s always something being built or fixed. The air is salty because we aren't far from the sea. People in the village know us by name. We don't really do much advertising because everyone just knows where K.K.V House is. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and we have to pause things, but that’s just life here. We start our days early when it’s still cool. There are trees all around the property which give us some nice shade. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know how to work with our hands. We focus on what we make, but we don't talk about it in a big way. We just do the job and move on to the next one. Visitors usually get offered a glass of water or tea. It’s a relaxed pace, but we stay busy. If you’re ever near the post office, you’ll likely hear us working away at our projects.
