Sree Devi Agencies

Sree Devi Agencies is a small shop, specifically Shop No. 7, located right near the main bus stand in the Kanyakumari district. Being so close to where the buses pull in and out means we see a whole lot of different people every single day. You have the locals who are commuting for work and then the tourists who look a bit lost trying to find the sights. It’s a busy, noisy environment with the sound of engines and conductors shouting all day long. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep the essentials that people might need in a hurry. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign. It’s just a practical place to pick things up. Kanyakumari can get incredibly humid, so we usually have a fan going, though it doesn't do much. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve seen the bus stand change and grow over the years. Most of the time, it’s just one of us sitting there, watching the crowds and helping whoever walks through the door. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just a local agency trying to serve the people passing through Shop No. 7. It’s a simple life, and while it gets tiring with all the noise, it’s never boring at the bus stand.
