Down here in Nagercoil, specifically in the Parvathipuram area, we spend our days dealing with land and buildings. Our office is on Raphel Street, tucked into the A3D block. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood most of the time, though things pick up when we have a new project starting. We deal with infrastructure and houses, mostly just making sure things are built solid. It's a lot of paperwork and talking to contractors, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The office isn't anything special. We have some maps on the wall and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We aren't some big corporate firm from the city; we’re just local people trying to help other locals find a spot to build or live. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. That’s just life in this part of Tamil Nadu. We know the local roads and the land better than most because we’re out there every day. If someone walks in looking for a plot or asking about construction, we just give it to them straight. There’s no use in making things sound more complicated than they are. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and while it’s hard work, it’s what we know how to do. Just plain, honest work in the realty business. Our neighbors usually see us coming and going at odd hours.
