We are based at No.236 on Carmel Mount Road in the Industrial Estate area of Nagercoil. It is over in Ponnappa Nadar Nagar. Being in the Ind Estate means there is always a lot of activity around us with other businesses and workshops. Our building is a simple one, nothing special to look at, but it’s sturdy and has enough room for our gear. We spend most of the day dealing with heavy stuff, so the office is mostly a place to sit down and drink some water. There is a lot of dust from the road and the nearby factories, so we are always cleaning things off. Ponnappa Nadar Nagar is a good place for builders because we are close to the suppliers. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing our sign or knowing us from previous jobs. Most of us have lived in Nagercoil our whole lives, so we know the streets and the people here. We just show up and do the work, whether it’s a small wall or a bigger building project. It’s a lot of physical labor and we don’t mind it. If you come down Carmel Mount Road, look for the industrial area and you’ll find us easily among the other workshops there. Someone is usually in the office until six, but we might be out back unloading a truck or something.
