Our place is down in Kalpadi, which is a small spot in the Kanyakumari district. It’s a bit different working all the way down here compared to the big cities. The pace is a little more steady, though we stay plenty busy with the storage vessels we build. Precision Storage Vessels Pvt Ltd. operates out of Kalpadi P.O., and most of the people working here are locals who have been with us for a long time. You can tell we’re a manufacturing outfit the moment you step onto the grounds—there’s always the sound of metal being shaped and the smell of welding in the air. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find someone in work clothes who can point you in the right direction. We take pride in the fact that our vessels are sturdy, but we don't feel the need to shout about it. The weather here can be quite humid, so we keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s a simple life, focused on welding, assembly, and making sure the finished vessels are ready for the road. We aren't looking to change the world; we just want to build things that last. If you’re ever in this part of Tamil Nadu, you’ll find us just doing our usual thing in the workshop.
