Mss Asan Exports

Down at No. 12/1 Melaratha Veethi is where Mss Asan Exports is. That is right on South Car Street in Nagercoil. It’s a traditional part of town. The temple is close by, so things get very crowded during festival times. Our shop is right there in the middle of it. We have the old style wooden doors that we open every morning. It’s not a modern office by any means. We have high ceilings and stone floors. It stays relatively cool inside even when it’s baking outside. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Just the basics to get the job done. Most of our work involves checking the goods and keeping track of where they are going. We’ve been on South Car Street for a long time. People around here know the family name. We don't spend money on big ads or billboards. We just sit at the desk and wait for the day's work to start. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors. It’s a slow pace compared to the big cities, but we like it. The street is always full of life, with people walking to the temple or the market. We just keep our head down and do what we’ve always done. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Nothing too special, just a regular business in Nagercoil that we've run for years.
