Lister Hospitals

Lister Hospitals sits on Main Road in Marthadam. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing people from all over the town. Marthandam is a busy place and being on the Main Road means we see a lot of traffic. The hospital isn't one of those glass skyscrapers you see in big cities. It's more of a practical building that has grown over the years. We have nurses and doctors who have been working here since they were young. Most of the time, the hallways are full of family members waiting or staff moving around. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We handle the usual stuff hospitals handle. Some days are quieter than others, but mostly it stays pretty active. The entrance is right off the street, so it's easy to get to. We keep the place running 24 hours because health issues don't really follow a schedule. The rooms are basic but they do the job. People come here because they know the location and they know we are open. We don't do much advertising. The word usually gets around by itself. It’s just how things work here in Marthandam. We try to keep the floors clean and the equipment working. If you live around here, you probably walked past us a dozen times already. It’s just the local hospital on Main Road. We’ve been here so long that people just recognize the building by its shape and the old gate.
