Lister Hospital

Lister Hospital is right here on Main Road in Markandam. People in Markandam know where we are because we've been sitting on this corner for a long while now. It’s a busy spot with cars going by all day. We mostly just focus on getting people back on their feet. There are a lot of rooms and hallways, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone shows up at once. It’s not fancy, just a regular hospital where the lights are always on. The staff here live nearby mostly. We see everything from small cuts to people staying over for a few nights. The building shows its age in some spots but we try to keep things tidy. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. It's more about the work. You can find us easily if you just drive down Main Road; the sign is big enough to see from the street. Markandam is a tight place and we try to fit in. Sometimes the waiting room gets loud, but that's just how it goes in a hospital. We have different floors for different things. If someone needs help, they just walk through the front doors. We don't have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. We have been here for years and the town has grown around us quite a bit lately, but the hospital stays pretty much the same.
