Jijin Bean Coffee

Our place is on Plot No. 41 along Church Road in Kadayal. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except for when people are heading to the services nearby. We’ve got the bean business going here, and it takes up most of our time. The building is just a simple structure, nothing special to look at, but it does what we need it to do. We spend our days sorting through the beans and making sure everything is ready for the next stage. It’s mostly manual work, so our backs usually ache by the time evening rolls around. There isn’t a lot of foot traffic here compared to the bigger towns, but we prefer it way. We know the people who live nearby, and they often stop by just to say hello or see how things are going. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow and just watch the street for a bit. The air in Kadayal is usually pretty good, which helps when you’re working with coffee all day long. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who know how to handle the beans properly. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't worry about being the biggest or the most famous place around. We just want to make sure the work we do on Plot 41 is done right every day. It’s about the routine more than anything else we have going on here with the bags and the shovels and the heat.
