Jayamatha Engineering College

We are based in Thirurajapuram, over in Aralvaimozhi. The wind blows pretty hard around here sometimes because of how the land is shaped. Our college has been a fixture in this area for quite some time now. We teach engineering to students who mostly come from the local districts and nearby towns. The buildings are spread out and we have a lot of open space on the campus. It’s not a very complicated setup. We have the usual labs for electronics and mechanical work. Some of the equipment has been here since we first opened, but it still works fine for teaching the basic concepts. The students spend a lot of time together, so it’s a close-knit group of people. We don’t go in for big advertisements or polished marketing videos. We just show up and do our jobs. The staff here are mostly folks who have settled down in the nearby villages or moved here for the work. It's a quiet life for the most part, except when there’s a college festival or when exams are coming up. Then the whole place gets a bit more energetic and noisy. We try to keep things running smoothly, even if we hit a few bumps with the administration or the local weather. It’s just a place to study and learn a trade that will help them later in their lives.
