Jaya Hospital

Our spot is Building No. 34 on KP Road. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people walking by. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. It’s a very practical spot for us to be because everyone knows where the bus stand is. The building is an older one but it works for what we need. We spend our days mostly looking at files and talking to folks who stop in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the hallway when a lot of people arrive at once. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or a front desk like the big city hospitals. It is just a regular hallway with some wooden doors. Most of the staff here live close by so they walk to work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, with new shops opening up on KP Road. But our building stays pretty much the same. We have a small area in the back where we keep our supplies. It’s not very big but we make it work somehow. Usually, we are too busy to notice the time passing. By the end of the day, we are all pretty tired but that’s just how it is. It's a real place with real people working. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. It’s just Jaya Hospital.
