Dr Kumaraswami Health Centre

The health centre here in Kottaram has been around for a while now. Most people in the area know where we are because it’s a small place and news travels fast. We mostly deal with the usual stuff that comes through the door every morning. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just a plain building where we try to keep things moving. Dr Kumaraswami started this place and we just kept it going. Some days it gets really crowded in the waiting area, especially when the weather changes and everyone gets the same cold. We have chairs that have seen better days but they do the job. The staff lives nearby, so we see our patients at the market too. It makes the work feel different when you know the families. We open early because people like to come in before they head out to work. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything. It's just about getting the checkups done and making sure people have what they need. You can find us easily enough in Kottaram. There is usually a line of scooters outside in the morning. We just take things one day at a time here. It's a quiet life for the most part, except for the busy Mondays.
