Csi Mission Hospital

We’ve been here at 104 Joshua Street for a long time now. It’s an old building, but it does what it needs to do for the people around here. Most people in the neighborhood know exactly where we are without looking at a map. You walk in and usually see the same faces at the front desk every morning. It gets quite busy, especially when the rains come or during flu season when everyone seems to have a cough. There’s almost always someone waiting in the wooden chairs in the hallway. Sometimes the wait is longer than people like, and we know that gets frustrating. We try our best to keep things moving along. The nurses are usually running around with their clipboards and charts. It’s definitely not a fancy place with shiny floors. The paint might be peeling in a couple of corners, but we keep the medical gear in good shape. We deal with everything from small scratches to the bigger health problems that take more time to figure out. Most of the staff live right nearby, so we often see our patients at the local market or on the bus. It makes the whole place feel more like a part of the neighborhood instead of just a cold building. The back office stays pretty cluttered with files, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal, busy hospital doing the daily work. The ceiling fans hum all day long.
