C.S.I. Hospital

We spend a lot of time here on Joshua St in Vettunimadam. It’s a busy spot. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of traffic picking up outside and the staff arriving one by one. The building has been here for a while, and you can tell by the way the floor tiles have worn down in the hallways. People come in from all over the neighborhood, some walking and others getting dropped off right at the front. It isn't a fancy place with high-tech displays everywhere, but it does what it needs to do. We have chairs that aren’t the most comfortable in the world, but they hold plenty of people waiting their turn. Sometimes the fans overhead make a bit of a clicking noise, which we just get used to after a while. Most days are pretty much the same, just a steady flow of patients and families. The windows look out onto Vettunimadam, and you can see the daily life of the town passing by while we work. We keep the files organized as best as we can, though things get a bit hectic around noon. By the time the evening shift comes on, the air feels a little cooler, and the street outside gets a bit quieter. It’s just a regular hospital where we show up, do the work, and go home to our families. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just follow the schedule and try to help who shows up at the door.
