Chubee Ice Cream

Our place is at 2, Java Nagar in Murappadi. Chubee Ice Cream is just a small local shop where we sell different kinds of frozen treats. The area around Java Nagar is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families and neighbors. We have a few freezers that take up most of the space inside. It’s a modest setup and we like it that way because it’s easy to manage. During the day, it can get quite quiet, but once the sun starts to go down, people come out for a walk and stop by. We spend our time checking the stock and wiping down the counters. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this one spot. Sometimes the fridge makes a weird humming noise, but it still keeps everything frozen, so we don't worry too much about it. We try to keep a decent variety of sticks and cups for the kids. It’s a very straightforward way to earn a living. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our shop. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for customers. Most people find us just by walking past on their way home. It’s been our location for some time now and we are quite used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We just keep the ice cream cold and wait for the next person to come through the door.
