Avatar International Model School

If you go down towards Kottaram in Nagercoil, you will find us at Avatar International Model School. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, though the mornings are always a bit of a rush with parents dropping their kids off. We have been here for a bit now, and the building has become a familiar part of the neighborhood. The gates open pretty early because some parents have to get to work before the heat really sets in. It’s a decent-sized place with enough room for everyone to move around. We don’t really do anything flashy here. Most of our time goes into making sure the lessons are ready and the kids are where they should be at the right time. The staff rooms are usually full of papers and half-finished cups of tea. Nagercoil weather is mostly okay, but we have some windy days that blow the doors shut unexpectedly. We have a mix of staff, some who have been here since we first opened and some newer faces. We try to keep things organized, but like any place with lots of children, it gets a bit messy sometimes. You’ll see the school buses coming in and out of the entrance throughout the day. We also have a small garden area near the side entrance that needs some work, but we get to it when we can. We aren't trying to be the biggest school. We just want to make sure the kids have a desk.
