Asha Hospital

Asha Hospital is also known locally as Asha Nursing Home, and we are located at 16-1c Place Road in Thuckalay. Being so near the bus stand makes it very convenient for people traveling from nearby villages to reach us. You can usually hear the buses pulling in and out if you're standing near the entrance. We’ve been a fixture in Thuckalay for quite a while. Our building is practical and has been added to over the years as we needed more space. It’s not a fancy medical center, just a reliable place where you can get help. The staff here mostly speaks the local language and knows the families around Place Road well. We see a lot of regular patients who have been coming to us for their families' needs for a generation. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different rooms, but we help people find their way. We don't have corporate slogans or big mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have beds, medicine, and people who know how to use them. It gets quite busy on market days when everyone is in town. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The goal is always just to help the person in front of us. It’s a local operation, run by local people, for the folks living in and around Thuckalay. We keep things honest and straightforward for every single patient that walks in.
