Arockia Annani Children Hospital

Arockia Annani Children Hospital is right on the 65 Trivandrum High Road in Thuckalay. If you have ever driven through Thuckalay, you know how hectic that main road can be with all the buses and trucks flying past. Our hospital is usually filled with the sound of kids crying or playing. It’s never really quiet here. We have some toys and old picture books scattered around the waiting room to keep the little ones busy while they wait to see the doctor, but they usually end up on the floor. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in a few spots near the windows. We don't have a big fancy lobby with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. It’s just a regular local hospital for children. The nurses here have a lot of patience because dealing with sick kids all day isn't easy. Parents are often stressed out when they come in, so we try to just talk to them normally and get things sorted. We see everything from common colds to more serious things that keep kids in the beds for a few days. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a chair for the parents. We’ve been part of the Thuckalay community for a long time now. It’s a busy, noisy, and somewhat messy place, but that’s just how a children’s hospital on a main road is. We just deal with it.
