Amritha Surabhi Hospital

Down here on Thooka Mudipura Road in Kollemcode, we’ve been running this hospital for a while. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. The people around Kollemcode know us well. We aren't a massive chain or anything like that. It’s just a local hospital where you can come when you’re feeling under the weather or have something more serious going on. The building sits right on the road, so it’s easy to spot. We have a small team here who basically do everything. From checking people in to making sure the rooms are ready, everyone chips in. We don't have those fancy automatic doors or high-tech kiosks. It’s more of a walk-in and talk to the person at the desk kind of place. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which is just part of living here. We try to keep things organized, though paperwork can pile up on the desks sometimes. It feels more like a community spot than a cold institution. We see the same faces quite often, which is nice. There’s no big marketing strategy here. We just open the doors in the morning and do our best for whoever shows up. It’s honest work and we are glad to be part of the life here on Thooka Mudipura Road. It is just how things have been for years and we like it.
