Avon Weaving Factory

Avon Weaving Factory is located right in the heart of Chowk Bazar. If you know the market area, you know it’s always busy and there’s always something happening around us. We’ve been doing our weaving work here for a long time, and the machines are usually running most of the day. It’s a bit noisy inside sometimes, but that’s just the sound of work getting done. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Instead, we focus on the actual production side of things. Chowk Bazar is a great place because everything is close by, even if the streets get a little cramped with all the carts and people. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for years. We know the looms inside and out. Sometimes things break down or we have to wait for materials to arrive, but we manage to keep things moving. We don't spend much time on social media or marketing; we just focus on the fabric and the orders we have to fill. People come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we know what we’re doing. It’s hard work, and the dust from the threads gets everywhere, but it’s a living. We’re proud to be a part of the local industry here in the bazaar. It’s a traditional way of working that still fits in today, and we hope to keep it going for many more years to come.
